ABOUT Semley Dogs

Semley Dogs is a 'Home from Home' dog care and walking service run from my home in Bedhampton, Havant.

Semley Dogs is fully insured by Cliverton for dog boarding, walking, day care and taxi service.

It is Licensed by Havant Borough Council.

Last year I trained with Canine Principles, achieving a Diploma in 'Dog Walking and Care' and 'First Aid for Dogs with the highest grade of Distinction. I have also attended practical First Aid Training for dogs with Sophie Bell of Animal Love.

My name is Sue Payne and until 2 years ago I worked for Hampshire County Council as an Assistant Family Support Worker for Children’s Services, and before that I worked for the Charity Action for Children. In 2012 I bought my dog Willow and took up Agility.

As I got more into the world of dogs I made the decision to extend my dog handling experience by helping out at two local dog walking businesses. I loved being out with the dogs so much I gave up the day job and started Semley Dogs!

From the outset Willow showed real flair at agility  - I just had to try and keep up with her!

Last year I was delighted to finish 5th in the

British Open Semi Finals, at the Kennel Club International Festival.

This meant we were invited to compete at the finals in the main arena at Crufts 2019.

Despite being overwhelmed by the excitement and enormity that is Crufts !! we are proud to announce that we finished 4th overall, with a clear round in Jumping - a dream made true by my amazing dog Willow.

Willow is a huge part of our family and my life, she accompanies me nearly everywhere, keeping me fit with long walks, running, cycling and swimming. Because of her I have made so many friends, know more people in my neighbourhood and have a great social life!

Willow is a super agility dog, however she is my best furry friend first and foremost - her welfare is always my highest concern.

All dogs that I look after share this same level of care.
